Kamparkalns ir augstaka virsotne Ziemelkurzeme. Kalna augstums ir 174,8 metri virs juras limena. 2008. gada 16. augusta uz ši kalna tika izveidots skatu tornis „Kamparkalns”. No torna augšas Jus variet redzet vienu no unikalam vietam Latvija – Talsu pauguraini. Talsu pauguraine ir bagata ar skaistam dabas ainavam un ielejam. Labos laika apstaklos ir iespejams redzet juru, kura ir 30 km attaluma no torna.

Ziemelkurzemes mazpilseta Talsi celotajam ir pazistami ka devinu pakalnu pilseta, bet varbut retais zina, ka tikpat jauka un romantiska ir ari pilsetas apkartne, kas ietilpst Ziemelkursas augstienes Vanemas pauguraine. Te pari kalniem un lejam ved likumoti celi, paugurus rota stalti ozoli un kuplas mežabeles, zalo eglu sienu ieskauti debesis raugas ezeru spoguli ar purvainam piekrastes joslam, pakalnu desmitus klaj plavas un birzis, veco mežaudžu ieskauti dižojas dižskabaržu, lapeglu, duglaziju un sarkano ozolu simtgadigi stadijumi. Šo atškirigo biotopu nemitiga mija ir dabas parka „Talsu pauguraine” raksturigaka un vertigaka iezime, tapec jau 1977. gada teritorija tiek nemta valsts aizsardziba. Patreiz aizsargajamas dabas teritorijas platiba ir 3700 ha, ta aiznem Talsu rajona Laidzes, Laucienes un Libagu pagastu rietumu dalu, un vairak ka pusi parka teritorijas klaj meži.

Kamparkalns is the highest hill in North Kurzeme. Its height is 174,8 meters above sea level. In 2008, on 16 August on this hill was built 28 meters high viewing tower „Kamparlakns”. From the top of the tower You can see one of the unique place in Latvia – Talsi Hillock. Talsi Hillock is rich with beautiful landscapes and valleys. In good weather conditions is possible to see the sea which is from the tower at a distance of 30 km.
Short description about Talsi Hillock
North Kurzeme small city Talsi is known for travelers as City of Nine Hills, but maybe only rare knows that outskirts of the city are of the same beauty as city itself. It is located in North Kursa Highland, Vanema Hillock. Roads take us over mountains and valleys; hillrocks are surrounded with large oaks and beautiful crab trees. Mirrors of lakes with swampy margin areas look in the sky embosomed with green spruces. Tenths of hills are covered with meadows and groves. Several hundred years old plantations of beeches, larches, duglazijas and red oaks boast embosomed with old forest plantations. The ceaseless interchange of these different biotopes is the most specifice and valuable feature of park „Talsi Hillock”, therefore already in 1977 this territory was taken under state protection. At the moment the total area of protected nature territory is 3700 ha. It covers the west part of Talsi district – Laidze, Lauciene and Libagi municipalities. More then half of park territory is covered with forests.
Climb up on the tower until last stairs. The cache is placed in the last stairs from the top.
