Geocache Description:

Into the Belly of the Bham Beast-The Final Battle If you enjoyed this cache, please consider if it is worthy of a favorite point.

As you may recall… after barely escaping with our lives during a Huntsville cache run, we discovered an egg of the beast had slipped into our geocaching backpack during the day. We immediately disposed of it, not wanting the creature to multiply in the Birmingham lairs; however, it seems we were not successful. The Battle begins here - we hope you have trained well. If possible, try to do this series in order starting with “Into the Belly of the Birmingham Beast, Trial Run;” followed by "Belly of the Bham Beast - Initial Training Ground;" and " Belly of the Bham Beast - Time to Get Serious." Photos are fine while in the Beast, just please don't post any photos from the Cache site that would spoil the fun. Note - You should plan on allowing about 30 minutes for this cache. This is not a P&G! You have had your training on the others, now it is time for the real deal. If you do not like small, dark places, the possibility of getting wet and muddy, spiders, snakes and who knows what else, this series will not be for you. Stealth will be required depending on the time of day you pick to begin your Mission. Team work is the best way to go here. The posted coordinates will carry you to the starting point. It was swallowed up a long time ago and only heaven knows what things you may discover along the way… A bright torch will definitely come in handy here (but is not required during daylight hours!). From the posted coordinates, you will need to stroll* into the Belly of the Beast aproximtely 300 feet in order to find the the first stage. (If you are in doubt which way to go from the posted coordinates, think about the Beast caches and follow the Beast's "saliva downstream" to your next objective.) Here you will come to a four way junction.... Now which one of the beast's airways should you take? If you choose the RIGHT one, you will be rewarded. I suggest that you send in your SMALLest and most expendable team member. Here you will find a small lock & lock containing the information you need to conquer the beast itself which was protecting a "full size" lock & lock covered in cammo tape. However, the beast ate that and as of April 2014 the cache is now a cammo covered tube that can hold at least 8 AA batteries. WARNING For this cache you might prefer gloves and knee pads (although the owner did it thrice without any). You should probably NOT do this in shorts or a skirt. You may wish to tie a rope to the lucky victim that gets to dive in so that you may pull them out later. Good luck and be safe.Warning do not attempt this cache if it is raining. Important note: The beast has some well trained guardians nearby; therefore, you will want to execute your mission during appropriate times and in stealth mode. Be aware, be very aware! You should bring an inscribing device, if you can conquer the beast, we originally had provided tools for you to use, but that container got washed away! You should realize that you will, more than likely, get your feet wet. Thanks to Clarkbowman for the inspiration of this cache and much of the cache page description. I highly recommend you visit the original Belly of the Beast Series. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=eeeae8a2-ee83-4e2b-ad12-b9440944e9f7 *Yes Stephanie and DiB, even you can stroll down this path.
