WICHITA'S OLDEST GEOCACHE
This geocache has been in the same place since September 25, 2001..and was in the original container too..but unfortunately it disappeared recently :(
Access to Lake parking is off of 55th St or at the south end of the Soccer Complex on 47th, between Meridian & Seneca (providing that the gate is open) I heard that the gates close at 3:30..and have had a Geocacher get locked it..just a WARNING!
The paths around the lake are in good shape but watch out for poison ivy, spider webs, snakes and normal lake things (chiggers, ticks, bugs, stickers, cockleburs, broken glass etc). Definitely wear jeans and a good pair of hiking shoes.
