Un posticino particolare, un tributo al primo cache che abbiamo
trovato in Svizzera. |

Circa 4 anni fa, a metà settembre 2004, abbiamo trovato, poco
distante da qui, il nostro primo cache in Svizzera. Quel cache è
ora archiviato e questo è anche un piccolo tributo a
quell'emozionante ritrovamento.
La strada che collega il lungolago da Vico Morcote a Carona è
ricchissima di punti panoramici dai quali è possibile godere di una
splendida vista sul lago e sui paesi di Melide, Bissone, Brusino
Arsizio e degli altri che si affacciano sul Lago di Lugano. Uno di
questi (alle coordinate N 45° 56.600, E 8° 55.747) è quello dove
spesso ci fermiamo per ammirare il paesaggio e fare qualche foto
(anche se ne abbiamo già tante da lì).
Superato questo punto si trova una vecchia costruzione (N 45°
56.716, E 8° 55.747) dell'acquedotto di Carona, datata 1908 e,
infine, si raggiunge una piccola costruzione molto particolare,
forse originariamente un luogo di preghiera.
Il cache è un piccolo tupperware avvolto in un sacchetto di
plastica, contenente alcuni oggetti, logbook e matita e una busta
di
anti umidità (SilicaGel) da non rimuovere!
Il 23 Novembre 2008 il cache è stato sostituito e spostato di
qualche centimetro. La posizione originale non era più utilizzabile
in quanto semi-distrutta. Preghiamo i geocacher di avere
rispetto per il luogo e di fare molta attenzione nel
prelevare e nascondere il cache, senza danneggiare nulla.
E' possibile!
Se non sapete l'italiano, come segno di
rispetto verso i geocacher di tutto il mondo, vi preghiamo di
scrivere i log in una lingua internazionale (l'inglese),
soprattutto se dovete comunicare al proprietario qualcosa,
altrimenti sarà come non scrivere nulla.

More or less 4 years ago, mid September 2004, we found, not far
from here, our first cache in Switzerland. That cache is now
archived and this is also a small tribute to that exciting
find.
The road that connects the lakeside from Vico Morcote towards
Carona is very rich of a lot of wonderful view points where you can
enjoy breathless views on the lake on an the villages of Melide,
Bissone, Brusino Arsizio and many more that are located on the
Lugano Lake. One of these vista points (located at N 45° 56.600, E
8° 55.747) is the one where we often stop to admire the landscape
and took few pictures (no matter we already have tons from of
pictures from there).
Once you pass that point you will find an old building (N 45°
56.716, E 8°55.747) of the Carona aqueduct, dated 1908 and finally
you'll reach a small construction very particolar, that was maybe
oringially inteded for praying.
The cache is an small tupperware wrapped in a plastic bag. It
contains a few objects, logbook, a pencil and an
anti-humidity
small bag (SilicaGel) that should not be removed!
On November 23rd, 2008 the cache has been replaced and moved a few
centimeters off. The original position couldn't not be used anymore
since it has been almost destroyed. We please all geocachers to
respect the place and to pay extra attention in
taking and putting the cache back, without destroying
anything.

If you don't know italian, as a sign of
respect for all geocacher all over the world, we please you to
write your logs in an international language (english), especially
if you have to communicate any piece of information to the owner,
otherwise that will be equal to not writing anything.
