Near the coordinates you will see a Bell Tower. See below for the information you need to collect. From the Bell, walk on South Avenue to the Clock at the waypoint coordinates. Again, you need to collect the information mentioned below. Next you walk East on Elm Street, make a left on Main street and walk to Town Hall. As you walk towards Town Hall, you pass a pharmacy that was shown in the 1997 movie "The Ice Storm". The Town Hall was shown in the remake of "The Stepford Wives". In front of the Town Hall at the waypoint coordinates is a sign about the town. Collect the digits as outlined below.
The Final is located at N 41° 08.ABC W 073° 29.DEF A = Subtract 1982 from the first year listed on the Clock's plaque. B = On the Town Hall sign, the third digit of the third year listed. C = Subtract 1994 from the second year listed on the Clock's plaque. D = # of E's on all sides of the Bell Tower E = On the Town Hall sign, the third digit of the year that Canaan Parish was established. F = # of O's on one side of the Bell Tower.
Now you have the coordinates for the final in Mead Park. Walk back to your car and drive to the park. (You could walk, but there is not a sidewalk for the entire route.) The entrance to Mead Park is on Park street. Note that you can't enter from Richmond Hill Road. That is the exit. Suggested parking is listed as a waypoint. There is a playground, baseball fields and tennis courts at the park.
