[FIN] Suomen suurin tekojärvi, Lokan tekoallas rakennettiin vuonna 1967. Järven ympärillä on runsaasti vaaroja ja tuntureita: idässä Painopää (526 m) ja Vuoltinen (481 m), pohjoisessa Vuomapää (691 m), Sokosti (718 m) ja Nattaset (544 m) sekä lännessä Koitelainen (408 m). Lokan altaalla voit nähdä myös merikotkia, sillä Suomen merikotkakannasta n. 10 % pesii alueella.
Kätkö sijaitsee luontopolun varrella olevan näköalatornin lähettyvillä. Koko luontopolun pituus on n. 3 km, mutta kätkölle on polkua pitkin matkaa vain n. 800 metriä. Jos et halua kiertää koko polkua, valitse risteävistä poluista vasemman puoleinen.
[ENG] The largest waterstore in Finland is Reservoir of Lokka which was build in 1967. The lake is surrounded by number of fells and hills: Painopää (526 m) and Vuoltinen (481 m) in the east, Vuomapää (691 m), Sokosti (718 m) and Nattaset (544 m) in the north and Koitelainen (408 m) in the west. You may also see White-tailed Eagle (Sea Eagle) in Lokka, about 10 % of Finlands Sea Eagle population lives in the area.
The cache is located near view tower along the nature trail. The length of the nature trail is about 3 km, but the distance from the starting point to the cache is only 800 meters. If you want to go straight to cache choose the left path in the crossroad of the paths.
