Located near Giffins Pond, which is one of the most scenic costal views in the St. Martins' Area (including the Fundy Trail).
Giffins Pond can be accessed by hiking or ATVing along the Giffins Pond Road, which is located at the end of West Quaco Road(park at N45 18.872 W65 33.764, at the end of the paved road). Although many locals may know of other routes to access Giffins Pond, I would not recommend that you take these routes unless you are familiar with them.
Giffins Pond is contained by a small, rocky strip of beach which acts as a barrier between the Pond and the Bay of Fundy. Cliffs flank the beach on each end and Roger's Head is located East of a plateau that rises from the beach. You may want to visit the beach instead of heading directly to the cache from Giffins Pond Road. The "mule path" from the beach to the cache has been flagged and is located at N45 18.562 W65 35.281.
The cache is located at a scenic spot which reveals the rugged coastline of the bay. Look west from the cache location and you will see a buoy, which marks the outlet of the brine pipe line, which begins at the old Casidy Lake Mine near Norton (on the way to Sussex).
I would recommend long pants since you will need to walk through long grass and ferns (unless you are hiking in the winter, then feel free to wear shorts).
