Deze cache ligt bij het 'SHORT STIRLING-MONUMENT'. Het 'Short Stirling-monument' in Doornspijk (gemeente Elburg) bestaat uit een propeller van een Short Stirling bommenwerper en een plaquette, met het wapen van het 199e Squadron van de Royal Air Force. Het was een toestel van de RAF. Het gebeurde in de vroege morgen van 13 mei 1943 tijdens een bombardementsvlucht van Ingham naar Duisburg. De bemanning bestond uit: Tom Wharmby, Ronald Hughes, Leonard Waldorf, John Guyer Wilson en Ronald Hermond Downes Cook. No.199 Squadron werd opgericht op 7 november 1942 als een standaard nacht bommenwerpers squadron binnen Bomber Command. Het vloog haar eerste raid op 6 december 1942 en bleef een van de belangrijkste bommenwerperskracht tot laat in 1943.
