Armem-se em verdadeiros piratas das Caraíbas e embarquem numa
fantástica aventura rumo ao desconhecido! Sabe-se que à (não) muito
tempo atrás os (pouco) famosos piratas Bringer Sparrow e Alieri
Turner, ameaçados pelas incursões da armada real, esconderam um
valioso tesouro no seu último reduto, uma fabulosa gruta perdida
algures na agreste costa do Carvoeiro, conhecida como a "Gruta da
Caveira". Agora, cabe-vos a vocês, intrépidos navegantes, descobrir
o seu paradeiro. Ao leme dos vossos galeões (ou qualquer outra
coisa que flutue mínimamente) e armados com os mais avançados
instrumentos de navegação, a tarefa não se afigura fácil (mas
também não muito dificíl), mas concerteza que vocês irão dar conta
do recado!
O ponto de partida é a bela praia de Albandeira. Se a maré estiver
suficientemente baixa podem atravessar o "túnel" que dá acesso à
pequena praia vizinha e aí equiparem-se para a viagem. O caminho a
percorrer por mar, se partirem do waypoint fornecido, será
aproximadamente 400 metros para cada lado, distância que, se o mar
estiver calmo, não deverá assustar muito (utilizámos um simples
bote insuflável a remos). Pelo caminho poderão ainda apreciar mais
uma pequena enseada e outra gruta de dimensões mais modestas. Não
se esqueçam de consultar os waypoints que se encontram nesta
página!
Apesar de termos conseguido sinal de GPS dentro da caverna,
utilizando um receptor Sirf III, o mesmo é muito instável, pelo que
poderá ter um erro de vários metros em relação à posição real da
cache. A mesma encontra-se num buraco da parede do lado esquerdo da
caverna (de quem entra), acessível através do patamar.
Apreciem e divirtam-se! O verdadeiro tesouro é local em
si.

Be a true Pirate of the Caribean and go along in
a fantastic journey into the unknown! It is said that a (not) long
time ago the two (not very) famous pirates Bringer Sparrow and
Alieri Turner, menaced by the incursions of the royal navy,
have hidden a valuable treasure in their last resort, a
fabulous cave lost somewere along the savage Carvoeiro coast, known
as the "Skull Chamber". Now is up to you, brave sailors, to find
it. Sailing your galeons (or anything that floats) and armed
with the most advanced navigation instruments, the task apears not
to be easy (but also not too hard), but we're sure that you can
accomplish it!
The departure point is the beautiful Albandeira beach. If the tide
is relatively low you can cross the "tunnel" that give access to
the small nearby beach and there equip yourselves to the journey.
The distance to be taken is about 400 meters to each side, distance
that, if the sea is calm, should be easily fulfilled (we've used a
simple inflatable boat). Through the way you can see a small beach
and another smaller cave. Do not forget to check the given
waypoints!
Although we've managed to get GPS
signal inside the cave, using a Sirf III receiver, the same was
very unstable, so it could have a several meters error relating the
real position of the cache. It is hidden in a hole in the wall of
the left side of the cave (if you have your back turned to the
sea), accessible through the platform.
