La Roche d’Antre est un magnifique belvédère orienté à l’Est, offrant une vue plongeante au dessus du lac d’Antre. De là vous pourrez apprécier l’étendue de la forêt jurassienne jusqu’à la Haute Chaîne des Monts Jura et si le temps le permet, voir le sommet du Mont Blanc distant de 107km. C'est le moment de profiter des tables ombragées pour un pique-nique au pays qui respire !
Les coordonnées indiquées sont celles du parking près de la cache (voir carte dans la galerie photo). Le parcours suit un chemin forestier balisé, mais attention en arrivant au bord de la falaise, seul le belvédère est aménagé avec des barrières. Le sentier peut être glissant par temps humide et la neige peut persister au printemps. (altitude 960m)
Deux possibilités pour faire cette cache :
1 - si vous disposez de quelques heures, vous pouvez faire un parcours pédestre en boucle de 7km à partir de la mairie de Villards d'Heria. Vous rejoindrez alors le parking de la cache. Le parcours intitulé "Tour des sources de l'Heria" est agrémenté de panneaux explicatifs aux points d'intérêts locaux (topo disponible à l'office du tourisme de Moirans) ; il passe notamment près d'un site gallo-romain qui peut faire l'objet d'une visite commentée en saison estivale.
2 - directement depuis le parking de la cache : prenez le chemin forestier menant au belvédère en suivant le balisage jaune. Au sommet, observez bien la table d'orientation et plus particulièrement son support… N'hésitez pas à vous baisser ! (mais ne franchissez en aucun cas la barrière) Vous y trouverez les 3 derniers chiffres des coordonnées finales. La cache est sur le chemin du retour.

From the "Roche d’Antre" you will enjoy a scenic view of the "lac d’Antre" just below, and of the vast forest spreading over the montains of Jura ; if the weather is clear, you might be lucky enough to see the top of the "Mont Blanc", which is 107km away. A nice place to bring your picnic !
The coordinates are those of the parking near the cache (see map in the photo gallery). You will follow a forest path, but be careful when you reach the edge, only the panoramic viewpoint is equipped with safety fence. Le trail may be slippery when wet, and snow can remain in spring. (altitude 960m)
Two possibilities for this cache :
1 - if you have enough time (a few hours), there is a 7 km tour called "Tour des sources de l'Heria", starting from the "mairie" (town hall) of Villards d'Heria. It will lead you to the parking of the cache. On the way you will find information boards on local points of interest. (map available at the tourist office of Moirans) ; you can also visit a gallo-roman archeological site nearby.
2 - starting from the parking of the cache : follow the forest path with yellow marking, leading to "belvédère de la Roche d'Antre". When you're on the spot, watch attentively the viewpoint indicator board… and also underneath (Don't step over the fence !). You'll find the missing figures for the final location. The cache is on the way back.
