Geocache Description:

The oldest geocache in Monterey Bay area (Santa Cruz County and Monterey County) and one of the oldest in California.

Central Coast Geocachers of California"OK. Who stole the bridge? I was going to place this by an infamous bridge, but it seems to be gone. So I put it someplace else. You can ignore the warning about not crossing the bridge. However be aware that trains do run on the tracks near the stash." -MAMoran, placer of this geocache

You can follow the tracks (up to a point) to get to two other nearby geocaches ("Turkey Bash Geocache" and "?Bridge The To Happened What"). Enjoy!

Warning: The rail line that the cache is next to is active. The trains are either from Roaring Camp Railroads or the San Lorenzo Lumber Yard in Felton (just up CA-9 a few miles). Although the trains do not seem to run on Sundays, this is not a guarantee that you won't see a train. The trains do not go fast and are easily heard, thus it is easy to get out of their way if need be.
