Nous avons fait cette cache sur la belle ile Costebelle. C’est notre deuxième cache a Les Salles chez le lac Ste. Croix, ou nous fréquentement passons notre vacances. Le lac est un tuyau, superbe, peu du gents, le temps en été est sûr. Avant tout sur cette ile il y’a peut de public, parce que la ile est seulement accessible avec une bateau ou par nager. Nous ne sommes pas sur, mais les gents dites s’il y a un endroit a N 43° 45.888 / E 006° 12.626 ou il y’a la possibilité de marcher a pied sur la ile, parce que l’eau est seulement jusqu’a les malléoles. We placed this cache on the beautiful island Costebelle. It is our second cache in Les Salles at the lake Ste. Croix, where we regularly spend our holidays. This lake is a real insider tip, wonderful, quiet and you have a guaranty for good weather during the summer. Above all on this island there are only a few people, because it can only be reached by boat or by swimming. We have been told that at the coordinates N 43° 45.888 / E 006° 12.626 it should be possible to reach the island by foot, because the water shall only be knee-deep at this point. We did not check it – therefore we don’t know if this is correct. You need approximately 10 to 15 minutes to swim to the island. We took a location which is easy to find so that every geocacher, beginner or professional, can find it. The reason for the high terrain is only because you have to swim or to hire a boat. Please notice the history of the village and the lake, for wich the ancient village must have gone.
Diesen Cache haben wir auf der schönen Insel Costebelle gelegt. Unser zweiter in Les Salles am Lac Ste. Croix, an dem wir regelmäßig unseren Urlaub verbringen. Dieser See ist ein echter Geheimtip, wunderschön, wenig los, im Sommer wettersicher. Vor allem auf dieser Insel ist wenig los, da man entweder rüber schwimmen oder sich ein Boot leihen muss. Bei den Koordinaten N 43° 45.888 / E 006° 12.626 soll es die Möglichkeit geben, nur knöcheltief im Wasser stehend rüber zu laufen. Ob dies tatsächlich geht, haben wir nicht überprüft. Die Schwimmdauer beträgt bei einer durchschnittlichen Schwimmgeschwindigkeit 10-15 Minuten. Wir haben den Cache bewusst einfach versteckt, damit er jedem gelingt. Das Terrain ist nur so hoch, weil man schwimmen oder sich ein Boot mieten muss. Beachtet bitte auch die Geschichte zu dem Ort Les Salles und zu dem See, dem das alte Dorf weichen musste.
