Geocache Description:

(For a Spanish version see below) This cache is mainly designed for new kids in town or tourists who like to combine sightseeing with geocaching. It is a mystery that leads you through Lima to some of the most important points of interests (POI), at least to my impression. And here is the mystery: I uploaded 10 photos of POIs in Lima to the gallery and gave them a number. During your quick tour through Lima you have to identify the objects on the photos correctly. Finally, put the POI number you have identified into the following equation: ABC = 1*Pachacamac + 2*Bizantino + 3*Armas +4*Agua Dulce +5*Osambela + 6*San Fransisco + 7*Catedral + 8*Arzobispal +9*Congreso + 10*Miraflores XYZ = 10*Pachacamac + 9*Bizantino + 8*Armas +7*Agua Dulce +6*Osambela + 5*San Fransisco + 4*Catedral + 3*Arzobispal +2*Congreso + 1*Miraflores Then calculate the place where the cache is hidden from the following equation: S12 07.(256+ABC) W77 01.(034+XYZ) Attention! The access to the final is not possible before 10am and after 5pm. The cachebox is an integral part of the final object. When you look for the cache box please take care of the guardmen (vigilantes). They are dressed in dark blue but have no special uniform. Take care when taking photos, officially it is not allowed. Go to the park side of the object and concentrate on the second wheel of the trailer from the back. Best is when you first take a seet on the sitting bench before the object to wait for a good moment. In a quiet moment lift the cover and you will find a black filmcanister inside. On the cover you will find the name "Symington". Your hands may get dirty with black grease but you can use the bathroom (banos, in a small house) to clean them with soap afterwards. Please hide the logbook well after logging. There are many muggles around here, particularly very interested children, watch out! In case the logbook gets stolen just put a regular paper with your name and date into the iron box. Please bring some paper and a pen in case of need. Don't put geocoins and travelbugs in the box it may be too dangerous, use http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC1KDDK instead! Have fun caching! A note to all the tourist cachers: What about designing a similar cache for your home town? Just copy the mystery and exchange the pics (I won't sue you for the copyright ). And don't forget to copy this note. Finally name it "Top 10 POI -your town name-" and everybody can easily search for this type of sightseeing cache.
