Från utsiktspunkten har man en fin utsikt över gamla
Kungälv och fästningen. Håller man sig på
gångstigen får man nöja sig med utsikten över
Tjuvholmen. Utsikten är inte så skrämmande som
då ön var helt kal och hyste regionens galgbacke. Galgen
på toppen av ön syntes då vida omkring, som en
hotfull varning till kungälvsborna
From the view point you have a great view over old Kungälv
and the fortress. If you stay on the path you will have to
make do with the view over the island Tjuvholmen (Thief’s
islet). The view is not as intimidating as when the local gallows
hill was located on the island. Then the gallows on top of the
island could be seen from all around, as a warning to the people in
Kungälv.
