Igrane is a village in Croatia, around 19 km south from Makarska. It has about 420 inhabitants.At the highest point of the village is the "Kula Zale" tower - named after Ivan Anticic, and built during the 17th century as a protection against Turks. The Pre-Romanesque church of St. Michael (Sveti Mihovil) dominates the village.Tourism and agriculture are the main sources of income for the inhabitants.
Igrane ist eine Ortschaft mit einem kleinem Fischer-Hafen im Küstengebiet von Makarska, 7 km südöstlich von Podgora; 427 Einwohner. Sie liegt auf einer kleinen Halbinsel, deren Südostküste ein langer Sandstrand einnimmt (1,5 km). Am Wellenbrecher im Hafen können kleinere Jachten anlegen. Wenn die Bora weht, bietet sich östlich des Igrane-Kaps ein guter Ankerplatz. Den räumlichen Höhepunkt des Ortes bilden der im 17. Jh. zur Verteidigung gegen die Türken errichtete Turm Zale und die barocke Pfarrkirche (1752). In einem Olivenhain oberhalb des Orts steht die Michaelskirche (11.-12. Jh.), eine dreischiffige frühromanische Basilika. Der hohe Campanile prägt das Erscheinungsbild des Orts.
Igrane je obec v Chorvatsku, ležící 19 km jižne od Makarské. Má 420 obyvatel. Na nejvyšším bode obce je opevnená vež kula Zale postavená v 17. století na obranu pred Turky. Dominantou obce je zvonice barokního kostela Panny Marie od Ružarija. Je to velice klidná a malebná obec. Lidé zde žijí z turismu a z prodeje oliv, které rostou na stupnovitých terasách kolem celé osady.Nad Igrane uprostred olivových háju stojí kostelík sv. Michala (Sveti Mihovil) z 11. století.
