Finding yourself grumbling a lot? In a sulk? Bit of a
miseryguts? Don't worry, it's a normal reaction to our weather:
caching in the rain, croquet in gale force winds, picnicking in the
drizzle, test match rained off, a day at the races spoilt by
thunderstorms, mud forces abandonment of air show - all part of
being British. And no marks for guessing when we'll have sunshine
in abundance. No cigar either. It'll be the first week in
September, as soon as the schools go back. This week, though, there
is the promise of a brief summery interlude, so I thought I would
write a puzzle in celebration of July.
