Cache is an easy 1/2 day trip from St. Louis. If you like to see trout or catch them, bring the kids and grandkids.
The park charges a $5 entrance fee to feed the fish. If you spend any time in the park its well worth the small fee.
Some days there is no fee.
Historic iron furnance, iron mine and museum, as well as a Conservation trout hatchery in the park. Bring some dimes and quarters for the kids to feed the fish!
The cache has migrated some from its original placement in 2001, and we updated the following on 1/18/2015 to help some folks out.
The cache is offset from this location. CLUE: -- Maria Bartley and 14 friends will generally point you to the cache about 150 feet away. Careful not to bump your chin.
