Heading up Route 27 from Kingfield to Carrabassett Valley, turn right onto the Carriage Road, just after Tufulio's Restaurant.
Drive for 2 miles down the Carriage Road and then take a right at 45 06.028 070 11.948. After 2/10ths of a mile more, you will come to a large parking lot. A short walk down the road to your left and you will be on a bridge overlooking the falls.
To find the cache, take the very well-built stones steps just before the bridge, go a short distance along the trail, down a very short but steep slope. The cache is about 6' off the trail, to the right.
This is a 30 cal ammo can, loaded with things for young and old alike. FTF gets a FTF pin and a Maine AT geocoin. There is even a FTF prize for the first dog!
