Geocache Description:

A steepish walk from the head of the Tal-y-Llyn Railway

A tupperware box in the left hand wall of the derelict stable, see the explanatory panel at the head of the Alltwyllt Incline. Only loose stones need to be moved - don't damage the wall! Though there are other ways to get here, by far the most fun is to ride the preserved steam trains of the Tal-y-LLyn railway from Tywyn or Abergynolwyn station to Nant Gwernol, for timetable and other information see www.talyllyn.co.uk. You could just about find the cache while the engine runs round the train but far better take time to walk one of the forest walks to Bryn Eglwys Quarry or climb the ridge beyond and find the Geocache at Tarren Memorial!
