Views of Newland Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

SidAndBob: By shear coincidence it was three years ago today that I last visited this cache. The paths had changed their route then, but have again changed considerably meaning that the hide had been disturbed and no cache was visible.
I always seem to come up here on a beautiful day, so again the views were outstanding, but so few visitors come here I have decided that after 10 years this one has served it's time.
Thanks to all of those who visited and enjoyed the view,
Pete and Ted.

Geocache Description:

A great view of Newland and it's impressive church.

A short walk through some varying countryside if you approach from the north. Meadow, ancient woodland, fields and far reaching views over Newland and to the Wye Valley. You can also see part of Whitecliff Quarry (Limestone) and a wind turbine on the way.

Cows may be in the field, though they tend to congregate at the bottom of the field well away from this route.

Please replace the cache carefully as you found it. Thanks.
