Located in the Village of Kirk Sandall, near Doncaster, this cache is placed on good firm terrain, near the local Railway Station.
About the SideTracked Series
We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy (cos there aren’t many Motorways in Wales!). But what about public transport users? SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick Cache-and-dashes at Train Stations.
SideTracked started at Evesham station on August 10th 2007, placed by schnarff & bikermel76. It took a while to get started, but is now spreading across the country!
This micro cache is hidden in the area around Kirk Sandall Railway Station, although you will not need to go on or anywhere near the railway to retrieve it.
Kirk Sandall Railway Station is a modern, open, unmanned station serving the communities of North Doncaster and was built by British Rail to replace the old station at Barnby Dunn, the station building of which can still be seen.
The terrain is easy and accessible for all, although the actual cache may not be.
This cache is suitable for drive by, or cache and dash, or can be combined with others in the locale. Parking is available close by in the station car park.
The area can be swamped with muggles at times, so be careful.
Please be careful removing and replacing the cache and inform the owner of any problems.
