Geocache Description:

This cache meets the guidelines for Minnesota State Forests.

Also known as the "Milkweed," the monarch butterfly lives in meadows and at roadsides. Its wings, which span as much as 4 inches from end to end, are honey-yellow with white dots and dark brown edges. The monarch butterfly can fly great distances, traveling south every autumn, and returning home every spring.
