An ammo can on an Island on The Resevoir. (Encrypted or not...bring the hint with you)
This cache was hidden with HVAC-EMT on one of the many islands on the largest recreational body of water in Massachusetts, which was built(that's right I said built) in 1865.
The original pond covered 318 acres. The reservoir when full covers 1,200 acres and is then (when full) 26 feet above the level of the old pond.
The best place to launch is the boat ramp at the entrance of the Tolland State Forest campgrounds. There is a $5 fee to use the campgrounds or the boat ramp, unless you are a senior citizen or have an annual parks pass.
I Found a marker that says FRWP CO (Farmington River Water Power Co.) at:
N42°08.637' W073°02.238' and a couple fire pits nearby.
The cache container started with 3 micro cache containers, a 9 LED flashlight, a 12 hour glowstick, a 1 LED flashlight, a $1 oakbucks coin, 2 TBs and 1 GeoCoin.
