Deze earthcache gaat niet over de brouwerij maar over de bron die in het water voorziet.
Het water van de “ALFA-bron” voldoet aan alle voorwaarden van het ministerie om gebruikt te worden voor het maken van bier.
Dit vanwege 2 bijzondere aspecten:
1) Het water iszo’n 6000 jaar oud en is afkomstig uit het eifel gebergte. Het is rond 4000 jaar voor Christus als regen gevallen in de omgeving van Aken. Daarna heeft het zich heel langzaam (2 a 3 m per jaar) door de verschillende bodemlagen heen verplaatst.
Deze wetenschap is een verklaring voor de buitengewone zuiverheid van het water. Gevallen in een ‘schoon’ tijdperk en eindeloos gefilterd door grind enkalksteen lagen is het prehistorisch regenwater ongekend helder.
2) Doordat de bron zich bevindt in een kalksteen pakket dat is afgedekt door een praktisch ondoorlaatbare bodemlagen.
Hierdoor wordt het water niet bedreigd door invloeden van bovenaf.
Om de earthcache te mogen loggen dien je het volgende te doen:
Vraag: Op welke diepte bevindt het water zich?
Maak een foto jezelf met de bron.
Op verzoek van de eigenaar de fotos het liefst vanaf de weg maken.
This eartcache isn’t about the brewery though about the well wich provides the water.
The water from the “ALFA-well” is sufficient to apply for the minestery’s rules to be used for the production of beer.
This because of 2 special reasons:
1) The water is about 6000 years old and comes from the ‘Eifel’-mountains. Around 4000 years before Christ the water is fallen as rain in the region Aken.
After that it transferred really slowly (2 a 3 meters / year) through different earth components.
This knowledge is a explanation for the extremely purity of the water. Fallen in a ‘clean’ era and endlessly filtered through grit and limestone layers is the prehestoric water exquisitly clear.
2) Because the well is situated in a limestone parcel wich is covered by impenetrable soil layers, the water isn’t at risk by influence from above.
For logging the cache you need to do the following things: Question: At which depth is the well situated?
Take a foto from yourself with the well.
