Charlemagne sur son destrier vient de passer l'Arche majestueuse pour aller sur le plateau Ardéchois.
Au passage, il laisse son nom au rapide précédant l’Arche.

Knight Charlemagne on his steed has just passed the majestic bridge to go on the plateau Ardèche.
Along the way, he gave its name to the rapids before the bridge.

Le rocher surplombant l'Arche ressemble à un chevalier sur son destrier (sous un certain angle AA).
Traverser la rivière (le but étant d'arriver juste en aval du pont) :
- à la nage (par l'accès que vous voulez quand les conditions le permettent)
- en bateau (par l'accès que vous voulez)
- à gué (par le rapide RV en aval du pont quand les conditions le permettent)
Si vous arrivez par la berge amont du pont (par exemple en traversant au rapide amont appelé le Charlemagne), alors vous pouvez traverser le pont (hors cru) par un tunnel (ET) où l'on tient largement debout mais sombre car long.
Attention, la sortie nécessite de descendre 3 mètres pour regagner le niveau de l'eau (nombreuses prises pour se tenir)
Une fois au bord de l'eau sur la rive droite en aval de l'arche, commencer la montée dans la végétation (EV).
Prendre le passage avec la main courante MC (quelques mètres) et continuer le chemin jusque la cache.
On peut aussi arriver par le chemin du plateau... Je vous laisse le découvrir pour les plus courageux.
Vous pouvez aussi le suivre pour repartir : Attention, c'est long et il faut savoir où aller !
Vous pouvez escalader le rocher (pour les confirmés) mais la cache est en bas : accès AR

The rock overlooking the bridge looks like a knight on his horse (one angle AA).
To find the cache, cross the river (the aim is to arrive just downstream of the bridge):
• By swimming (by the access you want when conditions allow)
• By boat (by the access you want)
• By crossing a ford (by the rapids RV downstream of the bridge when conditions allow)
If you arrive by the bank upstream of the bridge (for example through the rapids upstream called the Charlemagne), then you can cross the bridge (excluding high water) by a tunnel (ET) where standing is possible but it’s quite dark. Be careful, exit will need to get down 3 meters to get back to the level of water (grip many handles).
Once at the water's edge on the right bank downstream of the bridge, begin to climb in vegetation (EV).
Take the passage with the handrail MC (a few meters) and continue the path to the cache.
It can also be accessed by the plateau ... I let you discover for the bravest. You can also follow it to leave: Be careful, it is a long way and you can easily get lost!
You can climb the rock (even braver) for fun but the cache is at the bottom : access AR
