French Regional Park Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

FSU*Noles: Alas, it's time to put this one to bed. This was one of my kids' favorite cache hides, and after three years and 385 finds the muggles have finally gotten the best of it. It's time to open up the space for new hides and new adventures...special thanks to cmpfamily for removing the container today, I appreciate it. Thanks for visiting, we had a blast with this one!

Geocache Description:

A quick and easy Kids, Family, and travel bug friendly cache at Clifton E. French Regional Park in Plymouth!

Cache Details

The 'Noles kidlets wanted to hide a large cache, so during a beach day this past weekend, we took the time to wander the trails looking for big hiding spots. This is one of my family's favorite parks, and during the summer, if we're not lounging at the beach you can pr'bly find us exploring the spectacular play area and cargo-net climbing structure. Winter activities include a lighted sledding hill for year-round fun!

Location, Parking, and Access

French Park is open 5am-sunset all year long; please be mindful of park hours. You will find the cache conveniently located directly adjacent to the Moraine picnic area, just around the corner from the parking area on a nice paved trail. From the main entrance, look for the road to the Skyview/Moraine reservation areas on your right, as you wind your way through the park.

You're looking for a rather large 1-gallon thermos-type container, hidden in the usual sort of place. It starts out stuffed to the brim with five trackables looking to travel, assorted camping supplies, the usual $10 Target gift card, one of my 'reserved' pathtags, and assorted toys and trinkets hand-selected by the 'Noles kidlets from their own personal collection. As always - thanks, have fun, and happy hunting!

This cache has been registered with the Three Rivers Park District, and is placed with their permission.

[None needed! But if you *must* have one, look at the picture above...the hiding spot is directly behind the 'Noles kidlets! :)]
