Teddy Bear Cove is part of the Whatcom County Parks and it’s purchase was facilitated by the Whatcom Land Trust. There was a cache here previously but it has been archived, however, this spot is too beautiful not to have a cache to bring people to visit. Depending on where you park, the walk can be as short as 0.25 miles. The walk in is good, the walk back out is a bit steep but the trail is well groomed and has steps so kick it into low gear and take it slow and steady. The area the cache is in is visited by many so please re-hide it well. The placement of the cache (a small lock and lock) is not near the bluffs and you do not need to leave the trail.
As always, be careful while out in the woods. This area has bluffs so keep an eye on the kids. Please hide the cache as well as you find it or better.
