Am Weltnaturerbe "Wattenmeer" - nur bei Niedrigwasser zugänglich! Für die Suche wird ein langer, spitzer Gegenstand empfohlen - ich benutze immer eine Maurerkelle, die dient dann auch zum Freilegen der Dose. * Near the World Natural Heritage "Wattenmeer" - only to be reached at low tide! For searching, a longish, pointy object is recommended - I always use a mason´ s trowel which is also helpful for reaching the container.
Begib Dich zu den Koordinaten und suche nach dem PLUNK (einem harten Gegenstand), nicht nach dem PLITSCH (der weichen Umgebung). Du wirst diesen Platz meistens drei Stunden vor bis zwei Stunden nach Niedrigwasser aufsuchen können. Beim Zurücklegen bitte die folgenden Hinweise beachten, da der Cache sonst beschädigt wird: - die runde Halterung muss soweit von Sand befreit werden, dass die Dosen gewaltfrei komplett hineinpassen. Wasser in der Halterung ist unschädlich. - dabei auf die Beschriftung der Dosen achten: Außendose mit dem Deckel nach unten (Prinzip Taucherglocke), Innendose mit dem Deckel nach oben. - diese Lage der Dosen sorgt dafür, dass der Inhalt trocken bleibt. Es ist nicht nötig, die Dosendeckel gewaltsam festzuschrauben. Das birgt nur das Risiko, dass ein Deckel oder eine Dose Risse bekommt. - den runden, orangen Deckel draufsetzen. Wenn er nicht gewaltfrei bis zum Anschlag schliesst, Dosen wieder herausnehmen und mehr Sand aus der Halterung entfernen. - Nicht drücken oder gar den runden, orangen Deckel mit dem eigenen Körper belasten - das zerstört die Aussendose (als wenn man direkt darauf tritt) und damit den Cache. - die viereckige graue Abdeckung bitte wieder mittig draufsetzen und darauf achten, dass ihre Oberseite glatt und bündig mit der Umgebung abschliesst. - die viereckige graue Abdeckung keinesfalls tiefer einsetzen als Umgebungsniveau! So ist der Cache flutfest. Nässe macht dem Logbuch nichts aus, es ist nicht aus Papier, sondern "Rite in the Rain". Auch in nassem Zustand kann man es mit einem guten Kuli, einem weichen Bleistift oder einem Folienschreiber beschriften. Statt "Rite in the Rain" gibt es jetzt ein Papierlogbuch in einem Extra-Innenbehälter (Petling). - Berichte zum Zustand der Installation (Inhalt, Deckel, Dosen, Halterung, Abdeckungen) werden immer gerne genommen - bitte aber spoilerfrei formulieren. ***** Go to the coordinates listed and search for the PLUNK (a hard object), not the SPLISH (the soft environment). You can usually reach this place around low tide (from three hours before until two hours after). When replacing, please observe the following instructions, otherwise the cache will be damaged: - dig sand out of the circular holder, so the containers can be completely inserted without force. Don´t worry about water in the holder - observe the notes on the containers: place the outer container with lid facing downwards (diving bell principle), inner container with lid facing upwards. - this way of placing the containers keeps the contents dry. It is not necessary to screw the lids tight with full force. This only bears the risk of tearing the lid or the container. - replace the circular orange cap. If it does not fit snugly without force, take out the containers again and dig out more sand. - Do not push on the circular orange cap or even use your body weight to force the cap in - this will destroy the outer container and the cache (as would stepping on it). - put the rectangular grey cover on top exactly centrally and make sure its upper side is at flat level with the surroundings. - Never make the rectangular grey cover lie below surrounding level! Now the cache is floodproof. Don´t worry if the logbook ist wet, it is not made of paper, but "Rite in the Rain". Even when wet it can well be written on using a good ballpoint pen, a soft pencil or a permanent marker. Instead, there is a paper logbook now, in a separate inner container (PET-preform). - Any status information about the installation (contents, lids, containers, holder, covers) will be appreciated - if it´s kept spoiler free.
