Geocache Description:

About SideTracked: We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy. But what about public transport users? SideTracked caches are intended to provide quick cache and dashes at train stations.

Portsmouth Harbour station opened in 1876 as the terminus of the Portsmouth Waterside Extension to the Portsmouth Direct Line, which runs between this station and London's Waterloo station. It is situated beside Gunwharf Quays in the city's harbour, and is an important transport terminal, with a bus interchange and ferry services to Gosport and the Isle of Wight. The station currently has four platforms, an earlier fifth platform having been abandoned. These platforms are numbered 1, 3, 4 and 5. It is managed by South West Trains.

The cache is accessible from outside the station.
You are looking for a black plastic canister smaller than a 35mm film canister attached with magnets. Stealth will be required for this one and please ensure it is well hidden as its a very busy place!

Please remember to bring your own pen or pencil in case there isn't one in the cache at the time of your visit. One of the fundamental understandings of geocaching is that visitors sign the log so if you can't do that you can't count it as a find......
