This is a old road that has been blocked off (most likely when the 485 was done) and now skaters use it to do gnarly moves and get some air and do some rails :)
Might be an easy find for some - hard for others ;) - time will tell. You do not have to venture into the woods.
BYOP and bring some treezers or sharp knife to get the log out! (of course place back where and as you found it.
