Located near Brengulu brewery, you may park your car on the side of the road, and walk further. The best way to travel would be a bicycle.
EN: brewery was founded in 1969, and since then the beer recepie is kept in secret.
In the same building with brewery, there is a small water power plant, which was first founded in 1916. During soviet times ruined, but after Latvia gained independence, renewed and now it’s working again!

Pagaršo nefiltreto, dzivo alu! Tikai uzmanies, ja tev ir nerudits pilsetnieka vederinš. Gardais alutinš ir viltigs, iet leja rukdams, un atri dod par sevi manit!
Brengulu alus daritava dibinata 1969. gada, kolhoza “Abuls” laika. Kopš tiem laikiem tiek ražotas divas alus škirnes – gaišais un tumšais (kas pec krasas gan atškiras diezgan minimali). Alus diemžel (bet varbut labi vien ir) noperkams tikai izlejama veida, vai mucas. Ipaši lieliskas ir koka muceles, Ligo un citos svetkos. Tikai japiesakas laicigi, jo alus ir uz izkeršanu!
Alus daritavas eka atrodas ari HES, kas saražoto elektribu iepludina Latvenergo tiklos. Pirmsakumi tam meklejami jau 1916. gada, kad barons ielika tai pamatus, bet krievu laikos nopostits un 1992. gada atkal atjaunots.
