Geocache Description:

Bring your gloves, tools, folding chairs and a lunch!

This is the Alexander-Harkins Preserve owned by the Androscoggin Land Trust. ALT and geocachers work together to encourage responsible enjoyment of trails all over the area. There is almost no garbage, so the tasks will be varied. Even if you can't hike, there are jobs for you. Bring your sit-upon and you can trim short weeds that line parts of the trail. Bring a rake and you can spread wood chips. Other jobs include:

*Extensive vegetation and brush clipping along trail system
*Take down wooden barrier
*Spreading of woodchips
*trash pickup
*raking
*boundary marking/sign replacement
*possible trail marking

Work starts at 9 AM. We'll break at noon for potluck lunch on the baseball field. (If we have enough people, we'll be done by then!) BYO lunch and a little extra. We're not setting up a potluck table. Instead, wander among the chairs and see what you can trade! We'll trade TB's at lunchtime too.

Kindly log in so we can have an idea of how many workers there will be.
