Der Rheintal-Binnenkanal ist ein regulierter Fluss im Vorarlberger
Rheintal, der parallel zum Rhein verläuft. Er war um 1900 im Zuge
der Rheinregulierung auf ehemals landwirtschaftlichem Gebiet
errichtet worden.
Er beginnt bei Koblach und fließt in die Dornbirner Ach.
Er dient der Entwässerung des südlichen Unterlandes.
The Rhine Valley internal channel is an regulated river in the
Vorarlberg Rhine Valley, which runs parallel to the Rhine. It had
been established around 1900 during Rhine regulation in formerly
agricultural area. It starts near Koblach and flows into the
Dornbirner Ach. It serves the drainage of the southern
lowlands.
