BLAA: Sadly I need to archive this cache - thanks to all who have pursued and logged it. I hope to bring this puzzle-type back in another location...but the pandemic has made this location somewhat awkward...I looked to move it slightly, but the location did not seem safe and therefore I would not place it there. Thanks again.

Geocache Description:

Cache is not at posted coordinates but is a reasonably short walk away. To find the cache solve the puzzle. The derived coordinates are accurate but GPS reception may be spotty. Log Only - no room for trades.

Los Angeles, the second most populous city in the US was founded in 1781 and incorporated on April 4, 1850. Los Angeles is large boasting a perimeter of 342 miles. In 1900 the population of LA was only about 102,000 but it grew to over 3.4 million by 1990.Oil was discovered in 1892 which helped Los Angeles become one of the leading oil producing areas in world; although it has long since fallen from the list of leading oil producers there are still oil wells to be seen around town. Los Angeles has twice played host to the summer Olympic Games, in 1932 and in 1984. Los Angeles is home to dozens of parks and neighborhoods, each with its own unique flavor. This cache is in downtown Los Angeles where parking can be difficult and expensive during the week. Since you need to plan on walking at least several blocks from a parking space we have set the terrain at a "2".
