Metsäkansan kirkon on suunnitellut arkkitehti Jaakko Tähtinen. Kirkon rakennutti Emil Aaltonen joka lahjoitti kirkon kotikylälleen vuonna 1938. Hän lahjoitti kirkkoon myös urut,alttaritaulun sekä tapulin kellot.

Church was designed by architect Jaakko Tähtinen. Church was built and donated to his home village by Emil Aaltonen.He also donated church organ, altar piece and the chimes.
