Geocache Description:

Burscough to Tarleton Canal is a branch of the Leeds Liverpool canal and was to be closed by the British Waterways. However, British opinion was so great they made the Ribble Link, thus linking Lancaster and Leeds / Liverpool canals at Preston.

This cache is located just off the towpath and across from Wheat Lane. There is a private lane to the side so becareful of muggles. There is parking for two small cars at the end of Wheat Lane.
