Legend of the Smiling Dwarf.......

Back in the Age of the Artog, there was a population of whimsical dwarfs that lived in the forest here. They were called Kobolds by neighboring communities, though they were rarely seen. You see, the Kobolds were very good at playing hide and seek, and they played it all day long. Every day. They didn't seem to have a care in the world, other than to hone their skills at hide and seek. It was all fun and games for the Kobold, and if you listened carefully, it is told that you could hear their laughter amid the natural sounds of the forest.

One day, however, an evil dark dwarf named Dokkalfar took over the Kobold. Dokkalfar had unusually strong mythical powers which enabled him to frighten most of the Kobold into submission. The dwarves were no longer allowed to laugh and play, and instead they were forced to work underground all day long. Every day. The once carefree society of the Kobold had been turned into a pitiful lot of despondency and gloom, and were never allowed to see the light of day again.

But there was one dwarf who refused to comply with the evil ruler's despicable demands. His name was Tagot, and he was the best of the best at playing hide and seek. Tagot was able to blend in so well with the surrounding landscape that most would pass by without ever noticing him, not even the powerful, evil Dokkalfar.

Some say they might have recently caught a glimpse of Tagot in these woods, still smiling, and still playing the game he loved so much.

There is no need to bushwack other than the last 30 feet. Please use the trails. There is a creek crossing, so terrain will be more difficult during or after heavy rains. Satellite reception was sketchy, please feel free to post your alternate coordinates.
