Im Südwesten von Aurolzmünster breitet sich in durchaus hügeliger Gegend zu beiden Seiten des Kretschbaches das Gebiet der Gemeinde und Pfarre Eitzing über einen Flächenraum von fast 9 km² mit rund 700 Einwohnern aus. Die heutige Gemeinde Eitzing wurde gebildet aus den früheren Steuergemeinden Eitzing, Berg und Kirchberg. Die Gemeindegründung erfolgte im Jahre 1881. Der Name leitet sich von den alten Einwohnern namens „Itzinger“ ab. Dieser Cache ist ein Rundgang durch die kleine Marienwallfahrtsgemeinde.

In the southwest of Aurolzmünster the municipity of Eitzing spreads out in an absolutely hilly area to both sides of the Kretschbach. The surface space is of nearly 9 km² with about 700 inhabitants. The today's municipality of Eitzing was formed from the former tax municipalities of Eitzing, Berg and Kirchberg. The local foundation occurred in 1881. The name is derived from the old inhabitants called "Itzinger". This Cache is a walk by the small pilgrimage municipality.
