Isanti County Area Geocachers Invite All That May be Interested To
attend a Geocaching Event At: Spring Vale County Park, Isanti
County; Park Map at; (

Isanti County Active Living has encouraged us to put on an event so
that we can bring in New-bees and other Geocaching Wan-a-bees and
get them involved in our activities, in our parks and the great
outdoors. This is a 211 acre park that is in the process of being
developed so at this time there is no drinking water on site.
Please bring your own drinks. No alcohol consumption or possession
allowed at the park. Some of the park rules are that the park is
open from sunrise to sunset, no motorized vehicles are allowed
inside the park. Other rules are posted at the park entrance. There
will be portable toilets on site. Wear long pants and long sleeved
shirt and bring your own insect repellant. If you don't have a GPS
receiver you are still welcome and we will do what we can to help
you have a good experience. Hopefully we will have lots of cachers
to help out and with no pressure on the newcomers. We are planning
to have some brats and hotdogs and you are encouraged to bring some
other food items to share with all. We may also have some door
prizes to give away. There will be some new caches that will not be
activated until after the event has started so there will be
opportunities for some FTF’s. There may be more information to
follow.
