Geocache Description:

Caffeine and Cache event-Summer Soltice.
First day of Summer, the best way to celebrate is with another installment of the Caffeine and Caching.

Location: Isinours Forest Management Unit.
Date: June 21, 2008
Time: 10 am

Wonderful location between Fountain and Lanesboro, Minnesota along the Root River State Trail. The multiuse trail is over 50 miles of paved picture perfect scenery from Fountain to Houston. With all Bluff Country terrain, the hills are steep at times, yet great to ride down. If you are truely an adventure seeker, come on your bike, stay to enjoy the company, caching, and fireside caching stories. If you are less adventorous (like me) come in you favorite caching vehicle with your bike.

Isinours offers primitive camping, with water access, hiking trails, and caching.

DOC and Accordiongal are hosting this event. Plan to start Saturday morning with some caffiene in your favorite beverage, discuss the days caching plans. There will be caches available along the bike trails and hiking trails.

After you have cached your self silly, plan for a meal, then fireside chats. Too tired to travel home, no problem, bring your tent!

If you don't like primitive camping there is a nearby private camping resort about 1 mile away. Also offers a hostel.

Lanesboro has numerous hotels, B & B for other options.

Evening meal will be a potluck.
Potluck guidelines: All planning on enjoying a meal are to bring a main dish/main course salad.

NOW HEAR THIS: CHIPS/COOKIES DO NOT COUNT AS A MAIN DISH! These items are highly desired and wonderful, not enough to sustain your caching energy.
