As our local cache
approver, Surfer Joe does a fantastic job and just never hears
enough feedback from the finders and hiders of caches in the state
of Minnesota. He must be very diligent in his job, as I have always
noticed that Surfer Joe has never gotten out to find a cache.
As of the date of publishing he has zero finds. Well, it
seemed about time he got out from behind that computer (where he is
always busy doing a fantastic job of timely cache publishing) and
at least finds one cache.
OK.....Here's the
deal:
This cache has one
specific logging requirement.......
When you write your log
on geocaching.com, you should include the words "Surfer Joe"
somewhere in your log.
Hopefully, Surfer
Joe will stop by and log this cache. It's a Puzzle, but since it's
at the posted coordinates, he has no advantage over anyone else in
knowing where it's located. With that one log, Surfer Joes gets a
find and logs a Puzzle cache. How cool is that?
So stop on by, seek the
cache, sign the log, and hopefully, you can include something in
your log about the fantastic job Surfer Joe does for caching
in Minnesota if you feel so inclined.
Cache is your
normal tall POG tube with logsheet and some SWAG. I left it a
bit exposed, just to make sure Surfer Joe doesn't have
any trouble finding it. After all, this will be his first
find. It does not contain a pencil, although I think one
might appear.
Please make sure
the cache is replaced and covered so muggles will not find it, as
it is less than 25 feet from the trail.
Grey Wolf's Stamp of
Approval.
This cache may be located
in a public park with posted hours. It is your responsibility to be
aware of and adhere to any hours of operation. Logs indicating
caching outside of those hours will be
deleted.
