Magnusholm - the Swedish name of Island Mangalsala. The brick structures of battery D built from 1875 to 1886 year, but concrete structures from 1912 year.
Battery D at the end of the nineteenth century appeared as follows: On the forward edge are four casemates, almost rectangular forms, and four casemates of T-shaped form, with the large gates. From the left and right flank of T-shaped casemate, on 15 meter are defensive guardrooms. From the left and right flank of the foremost line of battery are additional defensive guardrooms. In the rear of the foremost line of battery, from the left and right flank, the ammunition depots are located.
