Located in Harbison State Forest in the Lost Creek Trail area. Parking is best at parking lot 4 near the Eagle Creek Shelter.
Luredbycache began their lives in Big Ten country in Ohio. Like any "normal" Ohioan, they have been, and always will be, big Buckeye fans, rooting on their beloved Ohio State University teams. Through a sorted past, and employment by the US Army, Luredbycache moved to Columbia and also became Gamecocks.
CachelessinSC's story follows a similar path, but they come from Michigan, where all Buckeye trees are cut down for fear of these trees passing on some hideous disease. Where they come from, the Wolverine is the mascot that they follow. Also by employment, though with East Lake Community Church as a pastor, CachelessinSC moved to the same neighborhood as Luredbycache.
Initially, the two families hit it off. They swam in the neighborhood pool together, ate at each other's house, all the great stuff neighbors do. Until, that is, they discovered each other's loyalities to universities. There was no way that Michigan fans and Ohio State fans could live in harmony, so they split apart and did not speak.
However, before too long, their love for geocaching brought them back together, and they decided that there would be no better way to honor their friendship than with a cache.
Thus, A CACHE DIVIDED was born. We hope you enjoy.
