(Eng) The beginnings of Ramava (Depkin's) Manor date back to the 15 th century.
The historical name of the manor is Depkinshof and it has originally been a parsonage.
From year 1723 the manor belonged to the senior pastor of city Riga B.Depkin. Several other Baltic German pastors have lived and worked there.
Famous representative of Livonian Enlightenment, the Baltic German man of letters Garlieb Merkel (1769 – 1850) spent his last 40 years in Depkinshof .
During the period of years 1920-1940, the manor dwelling house was run by the research establishment of the Agriculture faculty of University of Latvia “Ramava”.
After the Second World War the manor housed the Designing engineer filial office of USSR Ministry of Agricultural mechanical engineering. Later it was also used as an apartment house.
In 1996 the manor house became the property of Kekava municipality.
After a case of severe vandalism in the house in 1998, the board of Kekava municipality suggested to knock the building down and make use of the land for industrial purposes.
However, due to intervention of State Inspection for Heritage Protection the manor building was secured.
(Lat) Ramavas (Depkina) muižas pirmsakumi meklejami jau 15. gadsimta.
Muižas vesturiskais nosaukums ir Depkinshof, un savos pirmsakumos ta ir pamatoti devejama par macitajmuižu.
Kopš 1723. gada muiža piederejusi Rigas virsmacitajam Depkinam, velakos gados muiža saimniekojuši ari vairaki citi vacu garidznieki.
Vairak ka 40 sava muža pedejos gadus muiža ir dzivojis pazistamais baltvacu rakstnieks un apgaismotajs Garlibs Merkelis (1769-1850).
20.gs. 20.-40.g. muižas kungu maju apsaimniekoja Latvijas Universitates Lauksaimniecibas fakultates petniecibas saimnieciba "Ramava".
Pec Otra pasaules kara muiža bija PSRS Lauksaimniecibas mašinbuves ministrijas konstruktoru biroja filiale, velak izmantota ka dzivojama maja.
1996. gada muiža nonaca Kekavas pašvaldibas ipašuma. Pec diviem gadiem muižu visai specigi izdemoleja.
Kekavas pagasta padome bija izteikusi priekšlikumu muižas eku nojaukt un tas vieta uzbuvet rupnieciskus objektus,
tacu pec Latvijas Valsts Kulturas piemineklu aizsardzibas inspekcijas iejaukšanas muižas eka tika saglabata.
