Geocache Description:

The cache is not situated at these coordinates, this is just the starting point/parking location. This is a moorland cache and please ensure you are fully prepared before visiting the moors, as the weather changes very quickly. When we arrived today the sun was shining but within minutes we were in the middle of a snow shower!!
This cache is not suitable for pushchairs/wheelchairs as it does involve climbing on the moor.

This cache has been placed in recognition of our 200 cache finds. However the recent weather and busy caching diary has delayed it getting out!!! It contains our Beaver TB that we put out to celebrate our 100 finds and reclaimed as he didn't go anywhere and was sat in a cache all alone for some time! So please move him on soon....

The cache is a screw top container covered in camouflage tape. It has a log book and pencil and room for tb's/geocoins and small swaps. When we placed it today it had several swaps, a TB and a £1 coin & badge for FTF.

Go to the coordinates above - which is conveniently a parking location and find the information board. From here you need to find the following information to work out the coordinates for the cache, which is within 500metres of this spot!

1) The village of North Brent tor lies ?miles NE of Brent Tor Church. (take the number of miles, subtract 1) and you have the answer to A

2) Brent Tor is 3?5 metres high (? is answer B)

3) Christchurch replaced the chapel of ease in 185? (? is C)

4) The height in feet of Brent Tor ???? (minus 370) is the answer to E.

The cache can be found at N50 BC.173 W004 A9.E

The cache is not buried in any way, it is just sat behind a stone or two....please do not damage the cache location in any way when looking for the cache, it is a beautiful area with amazing views... Please be careful when looking for and replacing the cache as it can get very busy here, we encountered 4 other groups of people today during our visit...and there were lots of sheep watching us too...

We hope you enjoy the cache and the view - there are some seats to sit and ponder or to drink a well earned cup of tea.
