Geocache Description:

A new cache in Mianus. Park on the Stamford side, off Merriebrook Lane (although it's reachable from Greenich / Coughnewaug as well). Somewhat steep uphill climb required from the Stamford side.

From dog walks to mountain bike rides to training for a half marathon to geocaching, our family has done it all at Mianus Park.

Come enjoy a nice climb to the cache in this dog-friendly park. Be sure to pack a few towels for Fido, who will surely enjoy some of the best dog swimming in Fairfield County.

In the spring, I love listening to the frog chorus very near this cache. You will be mostly on established trails to get within 50 feet of the cache (look for the Hill Trail off River Road and follow your GPSr). Enjoy this little-traveled part of the park and listen to the frogs singing their springtime song.

My coordinates seem quite close to the money, and all feedback is welcome.

You are looking for a large tupperware-type container. Stocked with children's toys, stickers and cards, there's plenty of room for travel bugs. First to find wins a $15 gift card to Starbucks.
