Geocache Description:

This is the THIRD in a series of caches I will place along the Bronx River Parkway trails. Visit THIS SITE for great information about the two sections and how you can rent a bike for the true experience

The cache is an old medicine bottle. This cache AND ALL in the series have nearby parking access for those in a hurry, however, it is NOT recomended! The true purpose of this cache series is to share the wonderful experience that I have all year. Get a bike and ride from the county center to the Kensico Dam on the trail. Beautiful scenery and surprising seclusion for being in a city and along a parkway. The The total distance walking or on a bike from either the White Plains train station (not North White Plains) or County Center is about 7.6 miles round trip. Usually takes me approx. 20-25 minutes each way on a bike and maybe an hour (or less) each way walking. Either way the trail is GREAT and the reward at the end (when your out of shape like me) is the GORGEOUS view of the Kensico Dam coming into view as you glide down a short hill. Be careful of traffic as your cross (especially kids). Great cache for TB's and you can finish your tour with "Dam Stairs" and soon to come "Dam Stairs Too".
