Kongerslev Heat is remains of an extensive moor area, which stretched south of Kongerslev in the past.

Det er fredet og et præstegårdstilliggende og derfor offentlig tilgængelig. Man kan her finde de typiske hedeplanter med hedelyng som en af de dominerende planter, men også den mere usædvanlige tornblad, en gyvellignende plante med stive stikkende torne.
Området smykkes af nogle meget markante bronzealderhøje, fra toppen af hvilke der er en flot udsigt over mod Lille Vildmose og Mulbjergene.

Kongerslev Heat is remains of an extensive moor area, which stretched south of Kongerslev in the past.
That is protected and a vicarage-adjacent and therefore open to the public.
You can here find the typical moor plants with calluna like one of the dominant plants, but also the more unusual gorse, a broom-like plant with stiff pricking thorns.
The area is decorated by some very marked Bronze Age hills, from the top of which there is a beautiful view over towards Lille Vildmose and Mulbjergene.That is protected and a vicarage-adjacent and therefore open to the public.
