I've wanted to place a cache here for some time. On a clear day the
view of the valley is fantastic. There is usually a nice breeze
that comes up the hill and a nice open area to relax at after the
hike up here.
In the spring time, when the local foliage is in bloom, you will
be coming through a sea of lavender colored flowers. I believe that
these plants are purple sage. The summer time is when you really
can smell them. It always reminders me of breakfast! Be sure to
bring your camera when comming up here. If the flowers aren't in
bloom there is still great views of the valley to take pictures
of!
Remember to bring plenty of water, especially when coming up
here in the summer months. Also watch for the local critters before
reaching into any area. A hiking stick is always useful for both
the hike and the retrieval of caches around here.
