         É na Serra de Tentudia, em Espanha, que nasce o rio Ardila desaguando 60 km depois no rio Guadiana junto a Moura.
         Este rio, com locais que apenas os mais corajosos conseguem navegar, é muito temperamental e possui ao longo do seu curso caudais muito variados de quase zero até violento depois de grandes chuvadas.
         A sua fauna e flora são riquíssimas e as paisagens variam desde gargantas até grandes planos de água. Ao longo do rio podem-se ainda encontrar também vestígios da ocupação humana, hoje transformados em habitat da fauna e flora.
         Com os seus antigos moinhos situados em locais de excepcional beleza natural e de difícil acesso são o testemunho das duras condições de vida das gentes que neles trabalhava, e que agora ocupados por colónias de morcegos.
         Próximo de Moura, o Ardila é atravessado por uma ponte rodoviária com quatro varandas, duas de cada lado, onde poderá ocupar um dos seus trabalhados bancos de pedra e contemplar o rio enquanto descansa um pouco das suas caminhadas.		              It is in the Mountain of Tentudia, Spain, which rises the river Ardila flowin 60 km after into the River Guadiana near the city of Moura.
         This river has places that only the most courageous can navigate them, it is very temperamental and over its course has very different flow, from almost zero to violent after large rains.
         Its flora and fauna are rich and landscapes ranging from throats until big plans of water. Along the river you can also still find traces of human occupation, now turned into habitat of wild fauna and flora.
         With its old mills located in places of outstanding natural beauty and difficult access are the testimonies of the harsh conditions of life of people who worked, and now occupied by colonies of bats.
         Near Moura, Ardila is crossed by a road bridge with four balconies, two on each side, where you can seat on one of its sculpted stone branch, contemplating the river and do some rest of your hikes.
